Common Ordinance Violations
The Police Department is responsible for providing residents of the community with an orderly environment that is free of nuisances. Village Ordinance Chapter 8 (Orderly Conduct) and Chapter 9 (Public Nuisances) help the department to maintain safety and peace in the community. Coyotes who’ve adapted to urban and suburban environments, however, may realize there are few real threats and approach people or feel safe visiting yards even when people are present. Drug Take Back Day provides a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposal, while also educating the community about the potential abuse and consequences of improper storage and disposal of these medications.

NIXLE Crime Alerts Sign Up
NIXLE allows residents to sign up for text alerts sent out by the police department concerning threats to public safety (e.g. Robbery, Carjacking). The alerts may also be sent concerning missing persons and numerous property crimes (e.g. Burglary, Thefts). To sign up, please follow the link and fill out the required information.

Requests for records will be processed at the Whitefish Bay Police Department between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The requester is asked to fill out an open record request form detailing the record(s) requested. Follow the link for more information.
