Permits to Work in the Street

A Right of Way Permit is required for the safe and orderly placement of improvements and special use of the right of way, such as for material storage. Construction and landscape materials cannot be stored directly on the street/right of way for any period of time unless they are stored properly under a Right of Way Permit. Any debris or damage by a contractor or landscaper is their responsibility to take care of.

The Village does not haul away contractor or landscaper debris or repair their damage. In order to minimize the impact of activities of your contractors and landscapers on public streets/right of ways, please make sure they do not damage public property, illegally store materials, obstruct or leave their debris in the right of way and that any required Right of Way Permits and waste disposal is included in any services you receive.
