Change to Quarterly from Tri-Annual Billing

As you may have noticed for the last few months on your water utility statement, the Whitefish Bay Water Utility will be switching from a rolling tri-annual billing schedule to a quarterly billing schedule beginning in 2018. All water utility customers will be on the same quarterly billing cycle and will have the same bill date and due date.

January 1, 2018

On January 1, 2018, every utility customer in the Village will receive a pro-rated bill for the period which will end on December 1, 2017. This water bill will arrive by January 1 and be due by January 20, 2018. Please refer to the linked map to identify your proration schedule for the billing period which ends on December 1. This will affect your January 1 bill only. After this first bill of 2018, the subsequent billing for all Whitefish Bay customers will be quarterly. The next bill will be in April.

Cost-Savings for Customers

The transition to quarterly billing will provide efficiency and cost savings to Village customers. Shorter billing periods (three months instead of four) will allow the Village to catch leaks faster and reduce unintended use by customers. Customers will also see lower bills based on the shorter billing periods, making it easier for budgeting.

Fees Associated with Online Payments
